G.O.O.D. Music affiliate Travi$ Scott has finally delivered a release date for his long-awaited Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight.
Footage has surfaced this week of Scott announcing an early August drop date.
“I want everybody to lock in a date right now in their memory [banks], brains, right now. August 5th. August 5th. August 5th. August 5th. August 5th. August 5th. August 5th. August 5th. Birds in the Trap coming motherf*cking soon! B*tches! August 5th! Time to check in. Let’s get it. Tune in, August 5th!”
In late June, Scott hinted at a new album arriving this summer.
This past weekend, Travi$ previewed some new music during one of his concerts. While doing so, he also casually slipped in a huge announcement. “My album is coming out in a week, right?” he said. “So I’m gonna play a couple of joints on there.” (Complex)

Last month, tennis superstar Serena Williams publicly twerked to Scott’s infectious “Antidote” single.
Recently, Scott clocked in studio time with fellow hip-hop artist Kid Cudi.
