Canadian rapper Tory Lanez‘s Memories Don’t Die won’t have any problem landing on the sales chart. The early estimates have come in for the hip-hop stud’s new studio release.
Based on early numbers, Tory’s new project should easily push out over 40,000 copies.
Tory Lanez will have the top debut on next week’s Top 50 chart. Fittingly for the week after the Oscars, we may see a battle for #1 between two movie-inspired sets—Black Panther and The Greatest Showman. Tory Lanez (Mad Love/Interscope) 40-45k total activity, 10-15k album Tech N9ne (Strange Music) 17-23k, 12-16k (HITS Daily Double)
The new LP has received some hefty co-signs from Drake and 50 Cent to Trey Songz.

Last month, Lanez joked about his “B.I.D.” single making him want to grow out his hair.
