Canadian hip-hop artist Tory Lanez isn’t biting his tongue for anyone. The rap crooner has stepped up to address shade getting thrown his way about the motivation behind his new “Free 21” freestyle.

Lanez dug into his Instagram comments section to shut down speculation about doing his 21 Savage record to make money.

On Tuesday, Tory came through clutch with his hard-hitting freestyle over Sav’s “A Lot” instrumental.

A few hour ago, Savage finally managed to get released from ICE on bond pending a deportation hearing.

21’s lawyers, Charles H. Kuck, Dina LaPolt and Alex Spiro tell TMZ, “21 Savage asked us to send a special message to his fans and supporters — he says that while he wasn’t present at the Grammy Awards, he was there in spirit and is grateful for the support from around the world and is more than ever, ready to be with his loved ones and continue making music that brings people together.” (TMZ)

Sav’s situation has sparked a ton of support from various hip-hop stars.

Texas hip-hop artist Post Malone low-key showed his support for Sav during his Grammys performance.

Post Malone took the stage at Sunday’s Grammys Awards to perform his hit song “Rockstar.” Though Malone upset some fans by not mentioning 21 Savage, born She’yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, while on stage with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, he did wear a shirt with the rapper’s stage name on it underneath his jacket during the performance.
