When making music, a good producer knows what two artists would be the best to score a No. 1 hit on Billboard. Money has been left on the table because of disagreements and lives taken too soon.

Here are the Top 5 song collabs that would’ve been iconic:

1. Aaliyah + Beyoncè

Aaliyah died in a plane crash at 22 years old after making a music video for one of the biggest hits in her career

The world would have loved to hear a record with Aaliyah and  Beyoncè, who was in Destiny’s Child at the time.

Their two distinctive voices would have given the R&B girls a run for their money.

2. Kodak Black + Tekashi69

Kodak Black and Tekashi69 could make a powerful duo if they were on a song together.

Unfortunately, past beef has kept the two from making any move together.

In 2018, Kodak went to Instagram and clarified that nobody was better than him, including the New York rapper, who didn’t wait to respond.

If the two are past the beef, it might be time for them to make a hit record.

3. Ari Lennox + Erykah Badu

Now, this collaboration may just be a soulful banger waiting to happen.

Ari Lennox and Erykah Badu share a soulful voice that could win them a Grammy Award. Ari even met Badu, who gave her the advice to sing from her private parts.

4. Michael Jackson + Bruno Mars

Bruno Mars has fronted his career in a similar style to Michael Jackson‘s, so it’s a no-brainer that a song with these two would be a hit.

Unfortunately, Mars missed Michael, who died before a song could happen. Mars’ team should do everything possible to get on it if Michael still has any unreleased music out there.

5. J. Cole + Tupac Shakur

Tupac is another artist taken too soon, at the prime age of 25, ultimately missing the chance to meet and collaborate with J. Cole

It would be no surprise if the two made more than one song together or even shared some friendship.

Their attentiveness to lyrics and beats could have earned them both awards in music that are long overdue.
