Top Dawg Entertainment’s Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith is shutting down any and all new album speculation. The hip-hop executive hit up social media Tuesday (September 4) to make sure fans don’t hold their breath for a much-needed Kendrick Lamar LP.
Top Dawg jumped on Instagram to put a swift stop to anyone pushing a K. Dot DAMN. album follow-up rumor.

In April, Bad Boy Records CEO Diddy celebrated Lamar winning a Pulitzer Prize for his DAMN. album.
A Pulitzer Prize executive recently provided some context behind Lamar landing the game-changing award.
“The time was right,” Dana Canedy, the administrator of the prizes, said in an interview after the winners were announced. “We are very proud of this selection. It means that the jury and the board judging system worked as it’s supposed to — the best work was awarded a Pulitzer Prize.” She added: “It shines a light on hip-hop in a completely different way. This is a big moment for hip-hop music and a big moment for the Pulitzers.” (New York Times)
After the big win, everyone from Busta Rhymes to comedian Martin Lawrence acknowledged K. Dot’s game-changing achievement.

Drake announced an album. J. Cole announced an album. Kendrick Lamar won a Pulitzer. It’s Chance The Rapper’s birthday. It’s the 15-year anniversary of Michael Jordan’s last NBA game. And D-Wade had 21 points in the first half of a playoff game at 36. It’s been quite the day.
