Too Short Comes Up Big, This Bad Boy Alumni's Bankrupt, First Lady Michelle Obama's Presidential Announcement?

1. Short Dog, Tall Heart

West Coast rapper Too Short knows how to bring smiles to fans and it’s not always when he’s performing. The Short man looked out for a handicapped marijuana dispensary worker after her place was raided by police who made fun of her and destroyed the stash. TMZ has the story:

The rapper and some of his fellow tokers bought 54-year-old Marla James a new wheelchair … she’s legally blind and missing a leg.

James was the on-duty manager at Sky High Holistic when the Santa Ana PD raided the dispensary last month over permits.

Hidden cameras caught cops eating the edibles and victimizing James for her slow moving carriage. One cop even joked they should kick the amputee in “the nub.” (TMZ)

2. Slim Problems

Are things going to get better or worse for the Bad Boy alumni following the BET Awards reunion last weekend? It looks like 112’s Slim is going through a few issues including bankruptcy. TMZ is once again on it:

Magic Mike XXL” has been a dream come true for a huge ’90s R&B group … problem is, one of the lead singers isn’t gonna see any of those dollar bills. The group 112 is going to have a resu-erection with its song “Anywhere,” which is featured in the flick. Now here’s the rub. The lead singer, Slim, has filed for bankruptcy. It seems the official in charge of the case is a fan of the stripper film, because he’s aware of Slim’s involvement. So the bankruptcy trustee has filed legal docs saying any profits Slim sees from the song or the movie must be used to pay off his long list of creditors. (TMZ)
