Hollywood icon Tom Hanks‘ son, Chet Haze, has come forward to defend his recent usage of the N-word on social media and explain why the word should be universally accepted amongst friends no matter the race.

In a new Instagram video clip, Chet fully explains his reasoning behind the N-bombing.

Instead of taking offense, rapper Rich Homie Quan recently said he embraced white fans using the N-word during his performances.

“I feel good, man, because it’s that kind of trap that we want people to do,” Homie said when asked about his take on fans rapping to his “My N*gga” song. “It’s almost like cross-over music. I feel good. I don’t really look at nothing by it. It’s good. You make music so people can recite it and that’s what they’re doing, they’re reciting the song. … I wouldn’t say racism is worse in the South because it was so hard in the South, I think people are very nice in the South now and don’t want to go back to those days. I’ve seen very little racism since I’ve been living.” (VLAD TV)

Last year, rap star ScHoolboy Q said his supporters should feel comfortable enough to drop N-bombs during concerts.

Q was dissatisfied with the crowd participation on “Blessed,” however, sensing some trepidation from fans who didn’t want to repeat the N-word, which is rapped over two dozen times in the song. Schoolboy, who says he doesn’t believe in racism, invited all of his fans to recite the lyrics, no matter their race. “I ain’t saying go out the show and say, Yeah, my n—a,'” he warned. “Someone might get hot.” (MTV)

  1. This confused spoiled rich white nigga, smh. Everybody wanna be a nigga, But don’t nobody wanna be a nigga!

  2. Maybe if black people would stop saying it like it is a term of endearment then others like this dude wouldn’t feel they can do the same thing. It is an ugly word no matter who says it. Any blacks who hang with him should not give him a pass for saying and they shouldn’t say it either.

  3. Saying nigga has always been debatable among us. My great-grandmother used to say it, but would never say it in the presence of whites. Allowing it to be put on record and mass produced to be sold to non black people turned out to be the root of this problem of non blacks wanting to say it. NWA (and others) intent, I believe, was to be controversial, make ppl uncomfortable, and to present a raw street mentality that the mainstream shunned. This backfired by actually making a lot of them comfortable saying it. Do we really believe whites and others are censoring themselves while they sing along at home, in their cars or even at rap concerts? That doesnt necessarily condone whites using it, and they should acknowledge the fact that not all of us freely and openly use “nigga”.

  4. Hip hop is the culture YOU “identify with” because it’s popular. Just cause you like the music and like black pussy doesn’t mean you’re part of it.

  5. I feel the white boy. People give power to words and it gains more steam when the media puts a negative spin on it. In these days and times it’s a term of endearment. But if you use it wrong, you’ll get a foot in your ass. People give words definition and power!

    • I think nigga and nigger need to be redefined. That way we can all say “what’s up my nigga ” and all show luv…so when you here any body black white or Asian say “what’s up my nigger ” you can school him and let him know the difference in the two words…Hate to stain the arguement here but outside the U.S. The word nigger simply means “black” there’s a country that word came from and that’s how you say black in there language. But know I wasn’t born yesterday I know what saying the n word means here in the U.S. I think with so many young blacks not understanding the word nor young whites who are we to bring pre drawn prejudices in there life and say what they can and can not say around each other.Im white but I did have black friends who would when they see me come up to me and be like “what’s up my nigga ” and I’d be like “what’s up my nigga” lol now I just replace that word with dude when I’m in the public eye (media)because they will catch a heart attack if they here me tell my best friend who is black “wussup my nigga” smh So my opinion on all this B.S. is let’s just leave the word nigger define how it is since it’s already a word.and let’s make “nigga ” a new word and have them define it properly.Because I don’t beleive nigga is by any means the same as nigger.if you do and you use the word then your a fuggin hypocritical

  6. So I can call him a cracker & honky with love right??? I really don’t understand white people fascination with wanting to use that word. Smh.
