Up until the release of Black Panther, a lot of folks, myself included didn’t think Marvel could top the release of Thor: Ragnarok. The last real installment before the Avengers: Infinity War finally is now here both on Digital HD and Blu-ray. Thor is back and is better than ever. Loved watching it again because the climax of the Marvel franchise is THAT much closer. If you haven’t bought this one yet and need that extra push, here are five reasons you should buy Thor: Ragnarok! [Make sure to read each reason and enter to win your own copy!]

Reason 1: The Return Of Hulk

We all knew the Hulk went missing at end of Age of Ultron, but where the hell did he go? Most of all, how the hell was anyone able to put the Hulk down enough to actually capture him? All those questions are answered in a most hilarious fashion, Jeff Goldblum sees to that thoroughly. The Hulk was a great addition to this one. His and Thor’s onscreen interactions are priceless, cop this one and see what i’m talking about, for real.

Reason 2: Jeff Goldblum

For those of you who haven’t seen him in this movie, Jeff Goldblum was just the best comic relief you could ask for in this one. Goldblum doesn’t have a ton of screen time but when he does it’s gold. Who knows, his role in this one, may have inspired the creators Jurassic World 2 to revamp Ian Malcolm.

Reason 3: Special Features

Can you believe it has been 10 years since the release of Iron Man? 10 years we have been on this journey to get to this point. Hear from Marvel President Kevin Feige and how the Marvel Cinematic Universe has come to be as popular as it is. Want to see how Marvel is putting its best foot forward with with a focus on the strength of the women characters in this particular film, the Unstoppable Women featurette is fantastic. Tessa Thompson and Cate Blanchett are highlighted within this one. But, the one thing i thought was a dope concept, how the director wanted to plan out the bridge battle, an 8-bit battle sequence was created to show how they wanted the battle to somewhat play out. And of course, how can you have special features without extended or deleted scenes which do not disappoint. Cop this one for sure, take some time out and watch the special features.

Reason 4: Goddess of Death, Hela

Cate Blanchett was a flipping STUNNER in this role. Blanchett grabber her role in this one much like she did Mjolnir, and knocked it clean out of the park. She is already a very well established actress and we all thought she would do well, but not to this level. Much like Michael B. Jordon as Erik Killmonger, she stole the show in her time as the super villain. Will we see her again? Watch how this one goes down and you tell me. Would love to hear what you all think is going to happen next.

Reason 5: The Arrival Of Thanos (Spoiler)

He’s making his presence known in huge way. Thanos doesn’t even have to show up on screen for him to have a impact on the franchise. In the extra scene Thanos’ ship arrives just as Thor and his Asgardians are heading to Earth. It’s shown in the previews for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War that Thor is found floating in space by…look it up and see. It’s a great sequence of events that unfold.

Thor: Ragnarok is arguably the best movie in the Thor series. This movie makes you even question if it’s not just a comedy with superheroes trickled in there. Everything from the story, to the action and comedy, this one delivers on a different level than the rest of the Marvel franchise. Check out everything that went on behind the scenes as well. I still get a little choked up about the “He’s a friend from work!” line. Everything that goes into making these movies is fantastic if you take the time to look at some of these special features.
