Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio is reportedly suing a popular French rumor-driven magazine for claiming he knocked out R&B diva Rihanna.

According to reports, DiCaprio has sought out legal action over its May issue.

Leo filed the suit against Oops! for its May 28 cover story … which declares that Leo knocked up RiRi, and will not recognize the baby as his. In the docs, Leo’s lawyer calls the story “pure fantasy.” Here’s what’s odd — sources close to Leo tell TMZ … his team recently contacted Oops! and informed the people running the magazine that the story was false. We’re told the mag’s response went something like … yeah, we know and we don’t care — except in French. (TMZ)

Reports claim DiCaprio is seeking $20,000 in damages over the bogus story.

For the record, the entire story is untrue. DiCaprio is seeking the maximum by French law of 18,000 Euros, which is approximately $20,000 in damages and legal fees. (Gossip Cop)

Rumors of Rihanna possibly hooking up with the Hollywood star recently hit the Internet.

It wasn’t Leonardo DiCaprio’s birthday this weekend … but it sure felt like it … he was seen going straight up “Wolf of Wall Street” on Rihanna at the Playboy Mansion. It’s a good thing for Leo … designer Nikki Erwin had boyfriend/producer Chuck Pacheco — “Alpha Dogs,” “My Sister’s Keeper” — invite him to her star-stacked 30th B-Day at the Playboy Mansion Saturday … and our spies tell TMZ, Cap and RiRi were gettin’ super steamy and even swapping spit. (TMZ)

Recent reports suggested RiRi was calling it quits on dating musicians.

Rihanna has sworn off bad boys for good, according to a new report. The S&M hitmaker, who has been enjoying Christmas in Barbados, has told her pals that she won’t be hooking up with anyone from “the industry” after failed romances with Chris Brown and Take Care rapper Drake. RiRi is reportedly fed up with getting her heartbroken after trying (more than once) with both of the musicians. (The Mirror UK)
