Rich Gang’s Young Thug remains in a world of trouble following a publicized arrest this week on a terrorist threat with new charges being thrown his way.

According to reports, Thugger now has to worry about drug and weapons charges.

Sandy Springs police and U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force serving an arrest warrant searched Jeffery Williams’, AKA Young Thug, house in relation to a terroristic threat charge. Investigators say he threatened to shoot a Perimeter Mall security guard. Sandy Springs police charged the 22-year-old with multiple felonies, including drug and weapons charges. Williams is currently being held at the DeKalb County Jail. (WSBTV)

Police arrested Thugger this week after he allegedly threatened to shoot a local mall security guard.

The 22-year-old rapper, whose birth name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, was arrested without incident around 6 a.m. at a residence in Sandy Springs, according to Jim Joyner, spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. The U.S. Marshals were helping Dunwoody police serve a warrant charging Williams with terroristic threats. (Atlanta Journal-Constitution)

Police reportedly took Thug to DeKalb County jail following the arrest.

Update (11:45 a.m.): Williams was arrested because he allegedly threatened to kill a mall cop, TMZ reports. The incident took place last week at a mall in Georgia, but Williams left before the cops showed up. He is being held at the DeKalb County jail. (Pitchfork)

Coincidentally, fellow Rich Gang member Rich Homie Quan made headlines earlier this year for allegedly attacking a Florida bouncer.

Threatening a mall cop isn’t even the best alleged crime committed by a Rich Gang member this year. That goes to Rich Homie Quan, who reportedly punched out a bouncer at Miami’s notorious hotspot/fight spot Club LIV, and then escaped on a speedboat. (Gawker)
