Nicki Minaj’s“Harajuku Barbie” style developed from her love for the popular urban fashion trend in Tokyo, Japan, “Harajuku”. Harajuku is a gothic style that puts emphasis on outlandish, girlish, cutesy items such as hello kitty, exaggerated heels, fur, etc.
Onika is going full Harajuki in this new campaign with Marc Jacobs’s “Heavn,” the “Do We Have A Problem” hitmaker is pictured wearing two different pairs of Marc Jacobs heels in the style “Kiki” that sold out almost instantly from the Marc Jacobs website. The “Kiki” boot that fans are obsessing over are a leather gothic style exaggerated heel boot.
Nicki promoted the launch on her Instagram and captioned it:

Nicki Minaj continues to prove to critics that she can run it up. When “Do We Have A Problem?” wasn’t able to secure the top spot on the Hot 100, Twitter trolls gave Nicki a hard time about not charting at #1. But Nicki clapped back —-“Y’all. Let’s start by saying: I don’t need to go #1. I AM #1. There’s a difference.”
And if you don’t believe her, take it from popular image consultant, Kevin Samuels. Samuels has a reputation for making demeaning comments about women during his counseling sessions on Youtube. But, he rated Nicki an almost perfect score of 9 out 10. He justified the stellar rating because her facial features are “symmetrical” and for her size 4, 5’3″ petite physique.
