Another TV Star Joins "All Eyez On Me" Biopic, Lands Role As 2Pac's Stepdad

Hollywood actor Jamie Hector is reportedly the latest celebrity to join the cast up upcoming 2Pac biopic All Eyez On Me.

According to reports, Hector will play the late musician’s stepfather.

Jamie Hector has joined the Tupac Shakur biopic “All Eyez On Me” and will portray Mutulu Shakur, stepfather of the rap icon. Mutulu Shakur was an acupuncturist who set up a clinic in Harlem as well as being an advocate of black independence. He became a fugitive in 1982 when his stepson was 11, was captured four years later and convicted in 1988 of taking part in several robberies, homicides and a 1979 prison escape. (Variety)

TV actress Kat Graham will portray Pac’s celebrity friend Jada Pinkett Smith in the flick.

Kat Graham will portray Jada Pinkett Smith in the Tupac Shakur movie “All Eyez on Me,” Variety has learned exclusively. Smith and Shakur were high school classmates at the Baltimore School for the Arts and remained friends before his 1996 murder. The film is currently shooting in Atlanta. (Variety)

Reports this week revealed TV star Danai Gurira would take on the role of Pac’s mother Afeni Shakur.

Now, she’s gotten a major feature role: she’ll play Afeni Shakur in the Morgan Creek Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez On Me. She joins a film that is already underway in Atlanta, with Open Road distributing. The film is directed by Benny Boom, and Demetrius Shipp Jr plays Tupac. (Deadline)
