Binance will be the official sponsor of the tour and will be the first time that a global concert will integrate with Web3 technology.

In collaboration with Binance, it will pair with the “Earned It” singer’s creative incubator, HXOUSE, which will produce exclusive NFTs and co-brand merchandise for the tour.

The Weeknd’s XO Humanitarian Fund will also benefit from its partnership with the United Nations World Food Program.

The fund will receive $2 million from Binance and five percent of the exclusive NFT sales. The tour will begin on July 8 in Toronto.

The Weeknd Returns

The COVID-19 pandemic caused the postponement of The Weeknd’s originally planned “After Hours Tour”, which was scheduled for 2020.

Due to tonsil surgery, Doja Cat will not be the opening act. This marks The Weeknd’s seventh headlining tour.
