Today, check out Hollywood newcomer Anthony Kelley’s top five reasons you should treat friends and family to see the new The Gambler movie this Christmas! [Make sure to read each reason to win your own exclusive The Gambler screening tickets for select cities!]
Reason 1: Mark The Spot
The first reason you should see “The Gambler” is because Mark Wahlberg lost 60 pounds for this role and he worked his butt off. You really get to see his character go from dealing with these addictions and trying to walk away but he just can’t. I think a lot of people can relate to that that have their own addictions.

Reason 2: Basketball Jones
The second reason you should see “The Gambler” is because basketball is a part of this movie. You’re going to see real basketball players that have played AAU tournaments and some of them have even played overseas. So you get to see them interact on the court.

Reason 3: Hey Lady
The third reason is because Jessica Lange is so beautiful. John Goodman cut his hair for this film. You can really see the impact on the movie from him. You can see how much of an impact he made and even from the trailer. He looks really scary. He looks like a bad guy.

Reason 4: Crew Love
The fourth reason is because you have Brie Larson, Jessica Lange, Michael K. Williams, Rupert Wyatt, the director, it was just an incredible movie. I think a lot of people can take a lot from this movie.

Reason 5: Hi, My Name Is
The fifth reason you should check out “The Gambler” is because it’s my debut film. I’ve never dreamed of becoming an actor and this is just [amazing]. I saw myself play myself, playing Lamar Allen. I’m not just saying that to sound like a misogynist. I really did a good job. I think a lot of athletes can kind of relate to me. You have a lot of issues at home and you think you’re destined to and going to make it with a promising future and yet you have all of these issues that you’re dealing with.
