The Carters Could Make Oscars History

Jay Z & Beyoncé may be the first husband and wife to go up against each other for an Oscar.  Jay Z’s new song with Kid Cudi is featured in the new Netflix film “The Harder They Fall” (October 22, 2021) and Beyoncé’s song “Be Alive” will play in “King Richard” starring Will Smith as the father of Venus and Serena Williams. With both of these original songs, Jay and Bey may go head-to-head at the 2022 Oscars in the Best Original Song category.
