Meet poet Amanda Gorman! History is being made today as Vice President elect Kamala Harris swears in under oath as the new US VP! Amanda Gorman, the first youth Poet Laureate of Los Angeles, will also be a memorable part of this historic event being the youngest poet to ever be recruited as an inaugural poet! The 22 year old LA raised, Harvard grad’s poem is titled “The Hill We Climb” and she says “…what I really aspire to do in the poem is to be able to use my words to envision a way in which our country can still come together and can still heal.”
