Grammy-winning singer The-Dream recently gave his two cents on widespread coverage of ex-wife Christina Milian being romantically linked to Young Money leader Lil Wayne.
Instead of taking the gossip seriously, Dream pointed out why the alleged hook up would be hard to believe.
The R&B crooner tells Vlad TV that he finds the situation to be strange, especially since Milian and Wayne’s alleged coupling would create a love rectangle — The-Dream’s first ex-wife and mother of his three kids, Nivea, shares a child with Wayne. “I think that’s what everybody was thinking when the news broke,” he said. “Everybody was thinking of that but supposedly Christina,” he said. “She wasn’t thinking of that at all. I have no idea how she could not be thinking of that.” (ABC News Radio Online)
Wayne and Christina were spotted together in late July.
Last night, the rumored new couple was at L.A.’s premiere hotspot Supperclub, when the “Krazy” rapper got on the mic and gave a shout-out to his “baby.” Christina kicked it with her girls, taking selfies, and posting to the ‘Gram. Unfortunately, it wasn’t all love announcements and selfies in VIP. When Weezy and Christina left the club and got into their Maybach, the rapper from New Orleans who calls himself a Blood was approached by a rival Crip. (Global Grind)
Despite killing the romance rumors, the Young Money artists were caught dining in California a few nights prior.
After attending the ESPYS earlier this month, the Young Money labelmates were spotted leaving dinner at Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills on Sunday night. Milian exited first, while Weezy looked surprise to see the paparazzi waiting outside. While the photos may suggest otherwise, TMZ claims that the two are not dating and that it’s all part of Wayne’s plan to build buzz for Milian’s music. When asked if she was dating her YMCMB boss, the newly single Milian said, “We make music together,” but didn’t deny the rumors. (Rap-Up)
