A terminally-ill Michigan teenager has passed away this week after an unexpected visit from rap superstar Eminem over the weekend.

According to reports, the teen lost his life a day after Em’s visit.

Rainbow Connection Executive Director Mary Grace McCarter said Tuesday that the parents of 17-year-old Gage Garmo told her that he died Monday in their Rochester Hills home. (Newsday)

Eminem visited 17-year-old Gage Garmo on Sunday (January 11).

Gage had a wish fulfilled when Detroit native Eminem stopped by Sunday evening. The Detroit Free Press says the pair sat in the family’s living room talking about hip-hop and football. Gage was diagnosed with bone cancer three years ago, when he was a freshman at Rochester High School. (NBC Bay Area)

17-year-old Gage Garmo — who was battling a rare type of bone cancer called Osteosarcoma — died the day after Em arranged a secret visit to Gage’s home Sunday … and spent an hour talking and hanging out with him. Gage’s family said the visit really raised his spirits. (TMZ)
