New York rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is pretty close to shutting down his own hype. The hip-hop star has hit up social media to alert fans he plans on quitting the rap scene before 2019 arrives.

Tek went to Instagram Sunday (April 8) to break the news of his hip-hop deadline.

In late March, rap veteran Game low-key went to social media to troll 6ix9ine.

Days prior, Tekashi addressed grown men like Game and YG sending threats his way for associating himself with Bloods.

“Thereโ€™s grown a** men marching the streets looking for me. That sh*t drives me, I got these n***as missing work, they not taking care of they kids. Them n****s marching the streets looking for a kid with rainbow hair. How stupid could you look?” (“The Breakfast Club”)

Last month, Game’s manager Wack 100 gave Tek a final warning about claiming he’s affiliated with the Bloods.
