New York rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s insane music biz run might come to a nasty end before he knows it. New reports claim the self-proclaimed King of the Big Apple is facing years behind bars over a possible plea agreement violation.
According to reports, the New York D.A believes 6ix9ine’s recent law enforcement run-ins may have violated his past deal.
A spokesperson for the Manhattan’s D.A. Office said they are recommending 1-3 years behind bars in a state prison for Tekashi and claiming the rapper violated the terms of his plea agreement after he pled guilty to one count of Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance. The “FEFE” rapper cut the plea deal back in 2015, and a big part of his conditional release was to stay out of trouble. Officials point out that he was arrested in both Houston and Brooklyn, and feel that he has not held up his terms of the agreement. (The Blast)
Prior to blowing up, Tek found himself in a sticky situation involving an underage girl.
His first charges came over 4 years ago, before he was an adult. Tekashi was busted for assault and the sale of heroin, but his troubles have continued. In 2015, he pleaded guilty to 3 counts of sexual misconduct with a minor and “use of a child in a sexual performance”. The minor was a 13-year old girl that he took sexually explicit pictures and videos with, many of which emerged online. 6ix9ine claimed she lied about her age, and also claimed he was 17 at the time everything happened. He also claimed it didn’t happen, something that probably didn’t help his case. Later a Snapchat video of Tekashi calling himself a “happy rapist” was posted, adding on to people’s distaste for him over the event. Trippie Redd even called him out, saying he doesn’t “promote pedophiles”. (SOHH)
The rap rookie is also the father of a young girl with a former girlfriend.
Shared with an unknown former girlfriend, Tekashi has one daughter. This is still unknown to many people, as he’s really only spoken or posted about her once. Her age, name, and literally everything else is unknown. The only time Tekashi was publically seen with the child was at her birthday party during one of his Instagram livestreams. A bystander also managed to capture the scene on video. Perhaps this is a good thing, though. Tekashi and his ex might purposely be avoiding the spotlight for the sake of the child. (SOHH)
Outside of potential legal woes, Tek has kept busy this week feuding with West Coast rapper YG.
“Yo, I don’t know how more disrespectful I can get. YG, suck my f**king d*ck, stupid. Your last single before your album came out had four major artists on it. You had 2 Chainz. You had Big Sean and you had Nicki Minaj. Yo bool, you’re supposed to blow me out of the water. How my record doing better than your sh*t? You a whole bum out here. Stop going to radio stations trying to promote your album mentioning my name. That sh*t is a f*cking dud. You a dummy. A big a** dummy. Yo bro, I see right through you my n*gga. N*ggas is tired of disrespecting y’all old a** n*ggas. Do something about it.”
