Today, 69 took to Instagram to make a bold statement in his claim for the raps throne. He shows off over a million dollars in cash and other luxuries just weeks after pleading broke to an NYC judge.
A lot of attention has been on 6ix9ine this week as he makes his return to music and social media. It’s safe to say he’s back on his shenanigans just a day shy of his single dropping tomorrow.

Tekashi69 posted a video on Instagram bragging about his luxurious lifestyle and poured out over a million dollars in cash from the hood of his custom Lamborghini car to support his assertion. In the caption of the video, 6ix9ine sends direct shots at Fivio Foreign and anyone else who wants to dethrone him as king.
The video’s caption reads, “THE REAL KING OF NEW YORK ‼️ ‘IM BACK ‼️ ASK THEM POST THEIR HOUSE THEY CARS THEY BANK ACCOUNT 🤣😭😭 YOU DON’T LIVE LIKE THIS I OWN EVERYTHING YOU GUYS LEASE‼️ I TOOK OFF RAP 2 YEARS‼️ I COULD DO THAT YALL CANT‼️ THE REAL KING OF NEW YORK‼️Tomorrow GINÈ MUSIC VIDEO 3PM EASTERN ‼️‼️”
According to Tekashi, there is more to come, and this is only the beginning. In his 3-minute video 6ix9ine states, “The king of New York is back! I dont address nothing, because yall are gonna believe what you want. I’m really the type that can take two years off because this is my lifestyle. I really got your net worth in my trunk”
The self-proclaimed King of New York then proceeds to open his trunk and display over one million dollars in cash. He counts in increments of $50,000 bundles. Then goes on to promote his new single “GINÉ” which drops April 15th.
The projection of the sales from his single could make or break his claim for the title of King of New York. The King of New York conversation has been a hot topic this week online. NYC hip hop titans Fivio Foreign and Tekashi 6ix9ine have been in an online feud for the coveted.

Since 6ix9ine’s return to social media and the world of hip hop, he has been steadfastly proclaiming that he is the King of New York. He questioned Fivio Foreign’s dominance asking NYC: “Is this your king?”
Fivio Foreign’s first-week sales projections have 6ix9ine challenging his reign on NY’s rap throne. Fivio’s disappointing first-week sales projections on his new album, B.I.B.L.E, are reportedly under 30K, giving red meat to 6ix9ine to question if he really reigns in NY rap.
Just a few weeks ago, 6ix9ine and his accountant both told a NY judge that he is broke. Tekashi’s lawyer asked the judge to significantly reduce the amount in damages plaintiffs Wonzer and Dozier are requesting from their 2019 beatdown by 6ix9ine and his crew.
Tekashi explained to the judge that he is too broke to pay the civil judgment. His accountant, Justin D. Kobay, corroborated this statement. He said if the court awards the unitive damages, Tekashi would have to file for bankruptcy.
