Reason 1: TMNT Forever
The first reason you should buy the new TMNT Blu-ray is because it’s keeping the brand alive. I was such a huge fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I think I was nine when I went to go see the film in 1990 and it was just magic for me. I immediately got all of the action figures and would play the original Nintendo game all the time. I would put on a purple mask and grab a broomstick. I was just a crazy fan so to come back and visit this, all of those memories came back.

Reason 2: Action-Packed!
The second reason is because of the action. We were set up from the beginning of the film for a great action movie. Everything was so well-done. We were trained on weapons and karate a month before we even started shooting. The planning and doing these action scenes, they were incredible. What they were able to do on the computers and transfer onto the screen was amazing. You’re seeing things you’ve never seen before. When have you ever see the Turtles sliding down a hillside with snow with a rocket launcher? I saw an advanced copy of the movie on Blu-ray and was so surprised at how well the graphics transferred onto the small screen. It looks great on the big screen and on the small. Your jaw is on the floor when it’s all done. You’ve never seen anything like this before.

Reason 3: Everyone Loves TMNT
The third reason is because all walks of life can come to see this movie and enjoy it. That’s the beauty of a film like this. I got six, seven eight-year-olds and then adults my age coming up to me like, “Wow, this is great. We grew up with this and love it! We forgot about it and here it is again!” The DVD itself is the perfect stocking stuffer. If you haven’t checked it out yet, now is the opportunity to put it on for your family and friends. It’s a good time and you know you’re going to have a great time. This is for people of all ages.

Reason 4: The Bay
The fourth reason is because of Michael Bay. Michael Bay is really perfect for a movie like this. It’s incredible action, incredible excitement and what you’d expect from a Michael Bay film. That’s what’s fun about popping in this DVD. You know you’re in for a great ride. That’s his trademark. If you’ve seen any of his other films, he’s going to put you on a great ride and this film doesn’t let you down at all. People go to see this film and come out smiling. I think that’s what got all of us, the cast, excited. We were going to these screenings and people were coming out with a little bounce to their step. How many movies do you have like that anymore?

Reason 5: The Don
The fifth reason is because you get to see me, Jeremy Howard, as Donatello. I’m stepping in pretty big shoes. It’s a character we all have grown to love if you know anything about the Turtles. He’s an integral part of that team. When it comes down to where are we going, how are we getting there, how are we doing it, Donatello has it all. He has the surveillance systems, screen cameras all over the city and if your iPhone is broken, you can go to Donny. I’m stepping in big shoes for a character that is very near and dear to a lot of people’s hearts. I can’t tell you how many people have come to me and said, “Oh my gosh, Donatello has been my favorite since I was eight years-old. I’m just adding to the legend of this iconic franchise we’ve grown to love over time.
