Music newcomer Iliana Eve might not be old enough to drive but that’s not stopping her from steering head-first into the record industry. The 14-yaer-old crooner has signed a deal with reggae label FM Records.

According to Eve’s team, she has partnered up with the music company for a two-single deal.

FM Records CEO Kemar McGregor is a reggae-industy mogul and is dedicated to bringing pop-reggae music to a mainstream, international audience. Teenager Iliana Eve has been singing for less than a year and has already been co-signed by Snoop Dogg, Kanye West’s songwriter Cyhi The Prynce, Eminem’s artist Kxng Crooked of Slaughterhouse and 21 Savage. She’s been featured in coveted media outlets such as Billboard, Houston Chronicle, BET and pretty much every hip hop blog.

The singer reportedly has a couple new songs in the works.

Iliana Eve, Kemar McGregor, DJ Hannahbella and producer / celebrity publicist Jonathan Hay hit the studio to record two singles, ‘Tom’s Diner’ and ‘Mommy’ for FM Records. ‘Tom’s Diner’ is a pop-reggae re-make of Suzanne Vega’s massive hit from the late eighties and early nineties that is available now through all music retail outlets. ‘Mommy’ is a controversial song that is being released in April where the 14-year-old singer croons about a daughter being molested by her mother.

Producer Jonathan Hay recently talked about working alongside Iliana.

“In all my years of working in the music industry, I’ve never heard of a song like ‘Mommy’ before in my life. It’s one of the most shocking and heart-wrenching songs I’ve ever heard. This song will bring the topic of child molestation to the forefront of pop culture in a way that’s never been done. I think this song will not only add worldwide awareness to the molestation crisis, but I think this is the song that will define Iliana Eve’s career.” (SOHH)
