Top Dawg Entertainment president Dave Free has stepped forward to address new signee rumors. The TDE boss went to social media Friday (August 19) and shut down the hype.
Free jumped on Twitter and cleared up any confusion about his TDE artist roster.
Earlier in the day, New Jersey rapper RetcH announced his unexpected label status with the star-studded West Coast record company.
A few months ago, RetcH found himself in some serious trouble with the law.
For the unfamiliar, the Hackensack native was arrested for armed robbery back in March and faced 10-20 years in prison if convicted. Top Dawg Entertainment has its hands full with ScHoolboy Q’s “Blank Face” global tour, Isaiah Rashad’s latest single “Free Lunch,” and the forthcoming release of Ab-Soul’s next project coming soon.
