Country singer Taylor Swift‘s brother has come to her defense following a diss rap star Kanye West fired off at her during his Yeezy Season 3/The Life Of Pablo album listening event this week.

Swift’s brother, Austin, released video footage of himself trashing a pair of Kanye’s pricey Yeezy Boost sneakers following the verbal jab.

Getting a head start on some spring cleaning. Here we go again.

During his The Life Of Pablo showcase, Ye played a track which referenced his now-infamous 2009 MTV Video Music Awards Taylor Swift interruption.

The protective sibling took to his Instagram account on Thursday, after he heard West’s new song “Famous,” in which the rapper says, “For all my Southside n—-s who will know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why, I made that bitch famous / God damn / I made that bitch famous.” The lyrics allude to the 2009 MTV VMAs when he interrupted Swift’s Best Female Video acceptance speech. Despite the past issues, Swift said she had a friendly relationship with Yeezy last fall.

“Me and Kanye are on such good terms now, six years later,” says Swift. “It took a while… But I had to tell Beck this story earlier. I was at dinner with Kanye a week after the Grammys, he stops what he’s saying and he goes, ‘What is this song? I need to listen to this every day.’ I said, ‘It’s Beck, it’s on an album called ‘Morning Phase’, I think you’ve heard of it…’ We just burst out laughing. And he says, ‘Hey, sometimes I’m wrong.’” (NME)

Last summer, Swift revealed rap mogul Jay Z helped connect her to Kanye after the 2009 VMAs drama.

“I feel like I wasn’t ready to be friends with [West] until I felt like he had some sort of respect for me, and he wasn’t ready to be friends with me until he had some sort of respect for me—so it was the same issue, and we both reached the same place at the same time,” Swift says. “I became friends with Jay Z, and I think it was important, for Jay Z, for Kanye and I to get along. . . . And then Kanye and I both reached a place where he would say really nice things about my music and what I’ve accomplished, and I could ask him how his kid’s doing.” (Vanity Fair)

    • Naw, he destroyed his Yeezy’s to make a statement! Money didn’t come before the statement.  Not weird in the world of principles over money! Only weird in the bullshit world where money is everything….especially to broke mfs!

    • principles over money???? You sound stupid cause if he had to make a statement REAL men use words not some stupid gimmick. Principles? He didn’t say shit when Kanye disrespected his sister  over and over. Weird? man you have no clue of what you speak….especially to fake niggas who act like they got money on the internet but sleep on they mommas couch. Step your game up little nigga….

    • if she’s rich he rich??? That is the lamest thing Ive ever heard. So your telling me that if one makes it the whole family rides fro free? That the type of lames you run with? What i made my brother don’t see….I have put him in a position to make his OWN. Real niggas do that. Only lazy MFS rely on family to make money. I don’t care for those Kardashians but one made money and the rest making they own moves and money.  Thats how you hustle. Guess you wouldn’t know about that tho.
