Grammy-winning rapper T.I. is giving his full support to Meek Mill. The King of the South has shared some words of encouragement to the Dreamchasers boss in light of his prison sentence.
Last night, Tip went to Instagram to tell Meek he would still ride for him no matter the punishment in a probation violation case.
According to Meek lawyer Joe Tacopina, the judge’s sentence stemmed from a past song request.
According to Tacopina, Meek and the the judge are from the same part of Philly and know some of the same people. Tacopina says the judge suggested to Meek — during a meeting in chambers last year — he do a remake of Boyz II Men’s, “On Bended Knee” … and give her, the judge, a shout-out. Meek thought she was kidding and laughed. Tacopina claims she said, “I’m not kidding,” and when Meek refused to do it, she replied … “Okay, suit yourself.” (TMZ)
New York rapper Casanova 2x has publicly flexed his support for Meek amid his 2 to 4-year prison sentence.

I hate the fact that my people are acting like Meek is Kalief Browder. After serving 5 months in 2008 for gunz and drugs and violating again and serving 8 months then violating again and gettin House arrest. He goes to NY and does tricks on his dirt bike like a dumbass then He gets into a fight with one of his fans who was jus lookin to take a picture with him in St Louis…. this is not a case of a black man receiving unjust punishment… it’s a black man who had plenty of opportunity to put his mistakes behind him and make money but TOO STUPID to HUMBLE himself and serve his probation from the original 5 MONTHS he got for GUNZ & DRUGZ.
