According to reports, T.I.’s day of judgment will be October 15th.

Rapper T.I. is headed back to federal court in Atlanta next week to explain why his probation shouldn’t be revoked after his recent arrest in Los Angeles. U.S. District Judge Charles Pannell Jr. has set the hearing for 2 p.m. on Oct. 15 for T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris. The same judge sentenced Harris for firearms violations. Reports from last month suggested T.I. tested positive for drug usage upon being arrested.

Superstar rapper T.I. is back in the feds’ crosshairs with new allegations he had more than Ecstasy when he was busted earlier this month. The Grammy winner, whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., had codeine and marijuana and tested positive for opiates, according to a petition signed by his probation officer. “We are very disappointed in Mr. Harris’ recent conduct. We will make our sentencing recommendation at the (probation) revocation hearing,” U.S. Attorney Sally Quillian Yates said Friday. (New York Daily News)

In mid-September, the rapper was summoned by a federal judge to defend his probation violations.

U.S. District Judge Charles Pannel Jr. signed the summons for T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris. The same judge sentenced Harris for firearms violations. The order lists three possible violations of his bond: possession of ecstasy on Sept. 1, testing positive for opiates on Sept. 2 and associating on Sept. 1 with Cortez Thomas, a convicted felon. Despite the seriousness behind his incident, T.I. has received support from artists like Rick Ross and Drake.

“It hurt me the other day that somehow he found himself again in that kind of predicament. Especially with [the success of the movie] they just had out [‘Takers’]. It’s a personal thing. I’m not really here to say things about another man. Tip is a very smart man. I just think that, a part of me wishes he realized the power in the movement he has and what a legend he is and not get in trouble anymore. I just wish that wouldn’t happen. The man that he is, the trouble he gets into doesn’t reflect the person he is. He’s just a great individual. Yeah, it’s an unfortunate situation.” (MTV)

No further details have been released as of now.
