After sparking a war of words with New York musician Azealia Banks this week, Hustle Gang head T.I. has stepped forward to address where he stands in the feud. #FirstWarning
Following his publicized angry Instagram attack, Tip explained why he went directly at Azealia’s head.
“Nah, no war,” Tip said in an interview. “I think we spoke about this earlier in the month and I think I said the same thing to you. No disrespect from no one at no time. No exceptions. You can say what you want about me, but if you say something about my family, man, I’ma go at you and I’ma be relentless. I’ma be relentless. I’ll chew your throat off your neck if I need to. I have an oath to honor and respect and maintain the honor and respect and the integrity of my family. Anybody that violate that, I’m going. It’s just that.” (TMZ)
Seemingly out of nowhere, Banks appeared to fire the first shot with a jab reference to T.I.’s new “No Mediocre” record on Monday (June 16).
“U want no mediocre but … Have you seen your wife?,” Banks wrote via Twitter June 16 night.
“What do you do when your wife can’t read and they put it on national Tv?”

Shortly after her comments, Tip’s wife, Tiny, seemed to respond to Banks’ jab.

Tip wasted little time and shot direct threats at Azealia for attacking his family.
