Grammy-winning rapper T.I. made sure to clear his name from any snitch associations this week after running up on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Apollo Nida and confronting him. #SnitchesGetStitches
According to reports, Tip and fellow ATL rapper Killer Mike had words with Nida after he made some snitch-related comments about him earlier in the week.
Apollo Nida won’t be comparing himself to T.I. anymore — especially when it comes to snitching — because the rapper and his boy Killer Mike put the fear of God into Apollo in Atlanta yesterday … and the whole confrontation was recorded. TMZ broke the story … “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Nida copped a plea with the Feds in his wire and bank fraud case — and part of the terms included Nida agreeing to become an informant to help catch other crooks. Aka snitching. Nida tried to downplay our story with a tweet … claiming T.I. and Michael Vick signed similar “snitching” deals in their cases. Big mistake, Apollo. (TMZ)
Tip and Mike reportedly caught Nida in a parking lot to clear things up.
In the vid … T.I. tells Nida their cases were not similar at all. T.I.’s right … we’ve seen the documents and his plea agreement with the Feds does NOT include a so-called snitching clause. Nida has since deleted the tweet — and after what happens in this video … safe to say he won’t be saying, tweeting, or even thinking anything about T.I. again. (TMZ)
Following the confrontation, Apollo made sure to address his statements via Twitter.
“For the record I never said TI nor Mick Vick cooperated for the FED’s in there plea agreement. This was all taken out of context,” Apollo tweeted May 8.
” @Tip I respect both Them guys and looked up to them every since they started her career no Homo”
“@Tip For the record I never said TI nor Mick Vick cooperated for the FED’s in there plea agreement. This was all taken out of context” (Apollo Nida’s Twitter)
Details of his plea agreement landed online earlier in the week.
Apollo Nida has not had an easy week, and the media backlash is just making things worse for the House husband. Phaedra Parks‘s hubby plead guilty to bank and wire fraud on May 6, which could put him in prison for up to 30 years, and now reports are saying he agreed to a plea deal that requires him to “snitch” to the government. And boy did he not like that. (Wet Paint)
