Atlanta rapper T.I. isn’t here for gun control. The hip-hop star has weighed-in on the aftermath following last weekend’s horrific Las Vegas massacre.
In a new interview, Tip explained why guns shouldn’t be taken away.
“I mean, to me, man, as long as the criminals have them, I think citizens should be able to have them. I think there should be mental evaluations. The same for people who running for president, by the way.” (TMZ)
Recently, Top Dawg Entertainment’s ScHoolboy Q weighed-in on gun control laws.
“Guns, man,” Q said when asked what one evil he would rid the world of. “That gun law sh*t is real. It never stop. That’s probably the only thing I’ll agree about, the law and all that political sh*t that’s been going on. N*ggas need to take away guns. From officers, from everybody. It should be no guns. But it’s too many guns out there now. So it’s impossible to take away all the guns. So what I want is impossible to happen because it’ll never happen. You know what I mean?” (Montreality)
A few nights ago, G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean let out some emotion over the publicized Las Vegas music concert massacre.
“Hey, I just wanted to say, um, you know I got a brother, sister, niece, two nephews that live in Vegas that I see every time I’m in Vegas and I was just there last week performing at the iHeart music festival. I’m gonna be back in a few days and I don’t know what I would have done if something happened along the lines of what happened the night before last. The tragedy. My heart goes out to the families and to the people who are just in pain. I feel like the whole world’s in pain right now, world leaders, natural disasters, Puerto Rico, tornadoes, crime.”
