Producer Swizz Beatz recently talked about working with artists like Jay-Z and how the rap king's "On To The Next One" was actually a record from his own solo project.

According to Swizzy, he also gave his “Iron Man” record to Busta Rhymes.

“‘On To The Next One’ was definitely for my album,” Swizz revealed in an interview. “It was the last song on Jay’s album. He’s Jay-Z, so I don’t mind falling back and playing the producer role. That also happened with the ‘Iron Man’ song for Busta. My three year-old son came up with the concept for the song simply by playing with his Iron Man toy, in the studio. Now they are playing that song on the radio. I respect Busta. He is a great friend beyond the music, so I let him have it…I want to do what’s fun for me. I don’t mind taking the risk. I don’t play it safe. I don’t care what people think. I am an artist. It’s similar to painting on canvas. It is my interpretation of my life. You can see that in my hard work, in everything that I do. Even in being a great father, this is how I live. Some people won’t like it, some will; that’s just the balance of the world.” (All Hip Hop)

Jay recently made Billboard history for having the most Top 10 singles of all-time.

Jay-Z’s “Young Forever” rounds out the top 10, jumping from No. 12 to No. 10. He now leads all rappers with the most to top 10 singles ever. He’s got 17 under his belt. Before “Young,” Jay’s 16 tied him with Ludacris. Luda’s on his heals, though. His “My Chick Bad,” featuring Nicki Minaj is at No. 11 this week. (Entertainment Weekly)

Last month, Swizzy said he was working on Busta’s upcoming new album, Extinction.Level.Event.2.

“I think Busta changed the title from The Chemo but I swear to you, this album is crazy,” Beatz promised in an interview. “It’s not, no, no, no, it’s crazy. I was impressed, I’m not even gonna lie. I went into the studio expecting to hear something else and I heard something else, back to back.” (Rap-Up TV)

As of late, Swizz has given back to his community by adopting a New York school.

Swizzy appeared on “106 & Park” yesterday (May 14) with Diddy and Dirty Money to speak on his contributions. “I just came from the Bronx Charter School For the Arts,” he said. “I’m in the middle of sponsoring them, funding them, helping to rebuild them. Shout out to them, they got an art auction coming up.” The public elementary school is located in the Hunts Point neighborhood of the South Bronx. (XXL Mag)
