Producer AraabMuzik has come forward to announce plans to release a new studio album months after surviving a near-fatal shooting.

Barring any setbacks, Araab’s new Dreamworld album will arrive July 5.

Producer AraabMuzik will release his first new album in five years this summer with the arrival of Dreamworld. The album features contributions from Baauer, Raiche and !llmind. Dreamworld continues AraabMuzik’s exploration of EDM and hip-hop while incorporating other genres like grime, future bass and more. (Rolling Stone)

Details of the life-threatening crime surfaced online in late February .

Hip-hop producer AraabMuzik might have 9 lives — he was shot and wounded in Harlem Thursday night, his second such brush with death, police sources said. AraabMuzik, born Abraham Orellana, 26, was recovering Friday at Harlem Hospital, where he underwent surgery after getting shot in the jaw and right arm. He was also grazed in the head.
