Supreme is a huge streetwear and lifestyle company not only in the states, but worldwide. With 12 other stores, in other parts of the world, Milan will join the list at number 13.
The skater company originally from New York, has been talking about a Milan, Italy Supreme store for about two years now. The brand has been releasing photos and videos geotagged in Milan, with captions like “Coming soon,” keeping fans on their toes about the release date. Many advertisements and two billboards have been released as the official announcement of the store opening. The store will open on May 6th, in one of Italy’s most prominent commercial areas, Corso Garibaldi.
Back in 2019, when it was first speculated that Supreme was opening a Milan store, there was a lot of back and forth within the company as they were in the middle of a lawsuit with Supreme Italia. This lawsuit was pretty big as Supreme Italia, is considered a “legal fakes” seller, but is also a large competitor against the New York based brand.
