Roland Martin said it best stop lookin for them to validate you, when you dont show up to BET which nowadays im not mad at, Image, Trumpet awards etc. these artsists win those awards and the presenters end up accepting on their behalf. i would love to see Bey, Jay, 50, Rhianna, etc at the Image Awards. but then again those awards give people like Ledisi or K.
