According to reports, Knight had his bail review hearing pushed back to March 20.

Knight, 49, appeared healthy and sipped from a cup of water a sheriff’s deputy gave him while he sat handcuffed in orange jail garments in a Compton courthouse Monday morning. The former head of Death Row Records has been in custody since being arrested on suspicion of running over two men with his car, killing one of them. (Los Angeles Times)

Suge appeared in court last Tuesday (February 3) to address his criminal charges.

Former rap mogul Marion “Suge” Knight pleaded not guilty Tuesday to murder charges in a fatal hit-and-run incident before complaining of chest pains in court and being taken to the hospital. Knight, 49, stood in a defendant’s box next to his attorneys and intently read the complaint against him as the hearing opened. (CNN)

Reports claimed an ambulance took Knight to a nearby hospital after he experienced chest pains at his appearance.

Suge was in the lockup area next to the courtroom when he began experiencing chest pains. But it appears it’s not his heart … it’s his nerves. This is the second time Knight has been taken to the hospital while in police custody — he passed out in a jail cell last November as a result of a blood clot. (TMZ)

A police spokesperson confirmed his no-bail hold last Monday (February 2).

Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Nicole Nishida told The Times that Knight’s bail was pulled for the following reasons: “Possible flight risk, three-strike candidate, possible witness intimidation issues and his criminal past.” Knight is due to make his first court appearance Tuesday, Blatt said. 1. Suge is not going to go free unless he’s an informant for the feds. I’m curious to see how this unfolds.

  2. Prime Example: Even if you are a gangster, be a man, father, and or a husband first. The only time it’s ok to go to jail is when you’re standing for a great cause or protecting your family. This nigga finally got what he earned.

    • Yup a “real nigga” that’s why his dumb a$$ gets shot and goes to jail. Being a nigga will do that to you.

  3. He may get off though, they said that ol boy started punching Suge first. It reads as if ol boy started the whole problem.
