Former Death Row Records Marion “Suge” Knight is going to kick his feet up in a new spot to start a publicized 28-year prison sentence. New reports claim the hip-hop executive had his scenery changed up.

According to reports, Knight is now in Wasco State Prison to get his bid going.

Suge Knight has been transferred to Wasco State Prison. According to California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Marion Hugh Knight, also known as ‘Suge Knight’, was admitted to Wasco State Prison on Tuesday, October 23. (Turn To 23)

Recently, Suge’s son hit up social media to react to his dad’s nearly 30-year punishment for a fatal hit-and-run incident.

The same week, Suge Knight appeared in court and received his headline-generating sentence.

Former rap mogul Marion “Suge” Knight was formally sentenced on Thursday to 28 years in prison for a 2015 hit and run that left one man dead and another man injured. The 53-year-old former producer and co-founder of gangsta rap label Death Row Records last month pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter for businessman Terry Carter’s death in Compton, California. Victim Terry Carter‘s family reportedly appeared in court during the sentencing.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Ronald S. Coen handed down the sentence as expected Thursday for running over and killing businessman Terry Carter outside a Compton burger stand in 2015. Members of Carter’s family addressed the court including daughter Crystal, who called Knight “a disgusting, selfish disgrace to the human species.” Knight avoided a murder trial that was about to begin when he agreed two weeks ago to plead no contest to voluntary manslaughter and accept the sentence.
