Death Row Records ex-owner Marion "Suge" Knight could possibly spend the rest of his life behind bars after being charged with murder this week.
According to reports, Suge has now been hit with a charge of murder from his fatal hit and run attack last week.
Suge Knight has just been charged with murder in the death of his friend, and sources say a videotape will be a key piece of evidence. The L.A. County D.A. just filed the charges in connection with the death of Terry Carter … who was killed Thursday after Suge ran him over in Compton. If convicted, Suge faces life. (TMZ)

A police spokesperson confirmed his no-bail hold Monday (February 2).
Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Nicole Nishida told The Times that Knight’s bail was pulled for the following reasons: “Possible flight risk, three-strike candidate, possible witness intimidation issues and his criminal past.” Knight is due to make his first court appearance Tuesday, Blatt said. Buzz about video footage existing from the crime scene surfaced online over the weekend.
Authorities were looking at video footage Saturday that could show whether the rap mogul intentionally ran down two men with his truck in a fight Thursday in California. Terry Carter was killed, and a source said Cle (Bone) Sloan remained hospitalized with serious injuries. Knight’s attorney says he accidentally hit the men while trying to escape an attack, while authorities allege he intentionally ran them over. (New York Daily News)
According to reports, Knight turned himself over to California police Friday (January 30).
Sgt. Diane Hecht of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s information office said Knight was arrested at about 3 a.m. and is being held on $2 million bail. Hecht says Knight is being held at the West Hollywood sheriff’s station. Knight turned himself in to authorities early Friday after his attorney said the rap mogul accidentally ran over and killed a friend and injured another man as he fled attackers. (Fox News)
