[With a long-awaited Revelation Pt. II: The Fruit of Life project arriving July 22, singer Stephen Marley and hip-hop legend Busta Rhymes talk about their new “Pleasure or Pain” collaboration.]
“Pleasure or Pain” is really from a man’s point of view–It’s a song about being open enough to admit your wrong and admit that even though you mess up a relationship, you still have love for that one.
And throughout any given situation you’re still there, one part of it say— “see you with the next man, he better treat you right because if he don’t, I’m going to check him later on tonight.” So it’s very deep. -Stephen Marley

Hooray to the beatmaker. Hooray to the programmer. But I can only salute a producer.
Quincy Jones is a producer.
So I say Stephen Marley is a producer. I’m putting him in that category. He’s been producing a lot of things, he plays a lot of instruments, he sings, he writes, he does all of it and he’s very in tune with everything that’s happening from the elderly to the young.
I think that’s what makes me a fan too. -Busta Rhymes
