[With the new season of “The Ultimate Fighter” rolling, cast member and UFC legend Rashad Evans talks to SOHH about helping the show turn into must-see MMA reality TV.]
It’s crazy. When I got on “The Ultimate Fighter” show [in 2004], it was just after its first season and I didn’t know what to expect in the second season.
I just went in there and didn’t really think it would go beyond that. Ten years later, it’s still going and going strong. It’s still inventing and creating new talent in new ways and really making concepts for people to follow.
It’s hard for any show to go on for ten years.
I’m definitely a fan of the show. Watching these guys go through this experience, it reminds me why I went into fighting. It brought a lot of memories back to me.
I’ve been sidelined for a little bit but it helped me to refocus by watching these guys.
