Hollywood actress Vanessa Hudgens may have opened up a can of worms by revealing her fellow Spring Breakers co-star Selena Gomez is a huge fan of rumored love interest Gucci Mane.
In a recent Q&A, Hudgens spilled the beans on Gucci being Gomez’s favorite musician.
Who on the set of Spring Breakers had musical tastes similar to your own? I’d say [co-star] Selena [Gomez] because like me, she’s down with hip-hop and older hippie music. What kind of hip-hop would you guys listen to? Gucci Mane, Selena loves Gucci. He’s like her favorite artist. What’s music has helped you get over a break-up or a hard time? As cliché as it is, probably Beyonce’s “Single Ladies.” That’s basically my theme song. (SPIN)
Over the weekend, reports suggested Gucci and ex-associate Waka Flocka Flame are currently beefing over the 20-year-old actress.
Not necessarily best known for staunch commitment to his declarations, Gucci Mane has made the executive decision to relieve Waka Flocka Flame of his Brick Squad 1017 post. The reasons for this are still vague, but we have heard that Waka too had a thing for Spring Breakers actress Selena Gomez, whose intimacy with Wop on set had been rumored. (Complex)
Both Atlanta rappers resorted to their Twitter pages to go at one another.
After Gucci’s tweets last night Waka responded, “Somebody tell Gucci Mane 2 SUCK A D*CK.” That tweet has since been deleted. But strangely, as of today, Waka Flocka is still retweeting disparaging comments from his followers about Brick Squad 1017 an telling them to support his label, Brick Squad Monopoly. (XXL Mag)
Some reports also suggest Gucci’s Twitter page may have been compromised.
Hmm…Rahim from Warner/Atlantic says Gucci’s manager claims Gucci’s twitter account was hacked into. But then why is it that more than 12 hours later, 1) there is no “explanation” or retraction tweet. And 2) The diss tweet is still up. Look, hacking happens, so it’s possibility. But it doesn’t seem to add up in this situation. Also, usually you don’t see just one hacked tweet. Also…Gucci can be volatile. So, I’ll just say instead, I hope this incident of bad blood between one of my favorite buddy teams in trap rap isn’t irreversible. (Miss Info TV)
