Soulja Boy is known for his many firsts, but being the first rapper to have a shoe line isn’t one of them. However, he is the first rapper to create his own shoe line through the Italian footwear company, Alive Shoes.
Alive Shoes is a company that gives “talented and creative people all over the world the professional resources to design their own custom shoes and launch a shoe line from scratch.”
His line of sneakers, called “Soulja Shoes,” comes in different colors, including white, green, black, and yellow. The shoes are custom-made and shipped from Italy. They go for about $279 and come in a special “collector’s edition” box.
SOHH.com polled social media to find out if Draco fans would cop the new Soulja Shoes. Things don’t look too promising for the “first” rapper – more than 80% said they’re not coppin them.
Besides making money moves with his shoes, Soulja Boy says he is throwing in the towel for rapping and answering the call to acting. The “Crank That” rapper says he is putting all of his rap beefs behind him from 2022 and focusing on his acting career.
Soulja Boy shared details during a recent Instagram Live that he has a new TV show coming out this year, and is “an actor now.” He also said that he is going into the year with “positive energy” and doesn’t have any problems.
