SOHH First World Premiere: F R Eazzy’s “I’m Good”: “It’s All Blowing Up So Quickly” [Audio]

[With co-signs surrounding his new “I’m Good” single continuing to stack up, hip-hop newcomer F R Eazzy exclusively premieres his must-listen “I’m Good” banger on SOHH and breaks down how it came together.]

I was going through something personally and “I’m Good” is just a part of my life. I just took the beat and put my words to that.

I first had wrote the song just playing around on some, “I’m good,” type of stuff. Everybody uses that quote and that line like, ‘I’m good, yeah, I’m good.’ So I was basically just playing around with the hook and I was like, ‘Yo, this sounds dope.’ That’s when I started writing to it.

I had no beats to it at first. It was just lyrics on the paper. Then I hooked up with [producer] Fresh Beatz and he put the beat with the song, really messing around with the beat and it sounded so dope.

So I just had to record the song ASAP.

I wrote the song in the crib going through some crazy feelings by myself. I just took out my iPad, headphones, and I started writing. Of course I recorded it in the studio though.

We were going to shoot the video already but being that the song is just blowing up so quickly and every blogger is picking up on it and every website is picking up on it right now, we’re just waiting on the video because we want it to be just as good as the song.

We don’t want to rush the video and then disappoint everybody with the visual. So right now we’re just trying to put it together.

And we have some surprise features that we’re working on right now that want to be a part of the song. So we’re seeing if we’re going to wait to get that feature on it or put it out as it is now.

It’s all a process right now. It’s all blowing up so quickly.
