Staten Island emcee/producer Lou the Human, makes his presence in this rap game felt with this new video for “Brink.” The dark visuals were impressively one-shot on the streets of SI. While the eery visuals are sure to hold your attention from start to finish, it’s Lou’s witty lyricism that steals the show here. No hook, just a hungry (if not slightly deranged) emcee going in for just under 3 minutes with the perfect mix of comedy and darkness, or as Lou puts it: “Once you realize life’s a joke you kinda become a comedian.” “Brink” will appear on Lou’s upcoming Humaniac EP, set to drop in February. Video directed by Isaac Aguirre of The ICU Lab.
