West Coast rap veteran Snoop Dogg has gone on an Instagram spree against former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger this week.
Snoop unloaded his fury against Arnold for helping a former politician’s son avoid a lengthy prison sentence Tuesday (April 12).
Schwarzenegger is catching heat for his controversial final act as governor from 2011.
Esteban Nunez, now 27, was sentenced to 16 years for the stabbing death of Luis Santos, a San Diego college student. In his final day in office, Schwarzenegger commuted the sentence to seven years, amid allegations the move was dirty politics. The convicted felon’s father has also addressed the situation.
However, Nuñez’s father, former Assembly Speaker Fabian Nuñez, called in a favor from Schwarzenegger — who cut his sentence by more than half in 2011 on his last day in office as California governor. “I used my relationship with the governor to help my own son,” the elder Nuñez admitted. “I’d do it again.” (RAW Story)
