West Coast rap veterans Snoop Dogg and Daz Dillinger have reunited for the release of a new tribute track in memory of their late relative Uncle June Bug.

Snoop and Daz’s unexpected new “We’ll Miss U” anthem premiered online Friday (April 4).

In honor of their late Uncle June Bugg, who died earlier this week after a long battle with color cancer, Snoop Dogg and his cousin Daz Dillinger celebrate his legacy on the touching tribute “We’ll Miss U.” The West Coast MCs share fond memories of their uncle on the sentimental song, which features sound bites from June Bugg himself. “Makin’ people smile and laugh is what you used to / Dancin’ across the stage with Daz and Kurupt, Joe Cool, Soopafly, and the homegirl Rage,” raps Snoop. West Coast rap veteran Too $hort reflected on his outings with Snoop and JB last month.

“RIP Uncle June Bug. Always fun hangin with him & @SnoopDogg #RealPlayers pic.twitter.com/nYikA8rBAl,” Short tweeted March 30. (Too $hort’s Twitter)

Details of June Bug’s final hours emerged across the Internet last weekend.

Snoop Dogg’s uncle June Bug passed away Sunday morning after holding on almost a week longer than doctors expected … and Snoop was the last person to see him. June Bug’s nephew Daz Dillinger tells TMZ … his uncle died around 9:30 am — and it happened right after Snoop arrived for a visit. We’re told J.B. happily acknowledged Snoop’s presence … then passed on. As we previously reported, June Bug was given one day to live last week after succumbing to colon cancer … but he was clearly a fighter. (TMZ)

Snoop broke the initial sad news about his uncle to over 11.2 million Twitter followers earlier this month.

“rip uncle junebug . greatest to ever do it !!! heaven wouldn’t be the same without u !,” Snoop tweeted March 21. (Snoop Dogg’s Twitter)
