West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg does more than salute the men and women keeping the country safe. Snoop Dizzle has announced his involvement in this week’s three-day Salute The Troops music and comedy festival.
Snoop hopped on Instagram this week to announce the event will include a slew of fellow music heavyweights including Redman, Method Man and Rob Stone.

The festivities begin Friday and with Snoop Dizzle performing the following day.

Slated comedians set to take the stage include Adam Carolla, Rob Riggle and Madison Malloy.
Earlier this year, the event’s co-founder talked about putting together a huge star-studded line-up.
In a statement, the festival’s co-founder, Nate Parienti, said, “We are honored to produce events that bring significant entertainment options to our troops, veterans as well as the general public, and hope to help heal silent wounds through music and comedy,” Parienti said. “I know for a fact through speaking with many veterans and active service members that music and comedy can provide a momentary release and a long term healing effect that we hope to offer to our men and women, active and veterans.” (Rolling Stone)
