Southern rapper Slim Thug has listed his top five favorite rappers of all-time, ranging from the late Tupac Shakur to Lil Wayne.
Despite his admiration for B.I.G., Thugga felt the late rapper hasn’t released an adequate amount of music to be considered an all-time great.
“Tupac, his music is so meaningful; you know what I’m saying. With him, it wasn’t just about music. He had so much feeling in everything he did. That’s like, my favorite rapper of all time; that’s Tupac! Jay-Z, him being alive, I got so much respect for him as an artist, you know what I’m saying. For him to be so consistent, and for him to still be the top rapper in this generation–dude is like 40 years old and he’s broke all kind of boundaries…See, I like Biggie. I think he jam or whatever. But, I don’t think he put out enough music to be [considered] the best ever. He only put out two albums, due to him losing his life. And I’m from the South; I’ll put cats like, Scarface, on the list.” (All Hip Hop)
Thugga also included renowned hip-hop duo UGK in his Top 5 list.
“UGK. They’re a group; but, there among the top artists to me. I grew up on they s***. I know a mother***er from New York will say something totally different, like Wu-Tang…[Finally, Lil Wayne.] He does more music and puts more out there than Jay-Z. He puts more out there than anybody! Nobody is putting out as much music as Lil Wayne, nobody.” (All Hip Hop)
Outside of music, earlier this month, Slim Thug became embroiled in a Twitter dispute with celebrity groupie Kat Stacks.
“@ihateKatStacks See I was tryna not to go off on u I was taking up for u when they were talking bout u and I didn’t even tweet that pic,” he tweeted Tuesday (October 12).

Stacks followed up by sending her own taunting rebuttals to Slim Thug.
