The war between iPhone and Android may have officially gone in Team Apple’s favor. Houston rapper Slim Thug‘s pricey car recently endured some serious damage in a crook’s pursuit to grab his mobile phone.
According to reports, Thugger had his iPhone stolen from his Rolls-Royce at a recent dinner meeting in Texas.
Slim tells TMZ … he was having a business meeting over dinner at Houston’s … in Houston, when someone smashed one window on his 2015 Rolls-Royce Wraith, and stole an iPhone. Cops tells us the whole caper was captured on security cameras, and the footage is key to their investigation. Even though they only broke one window, it’s a Rolls window. Slim says repairs will cost about $13k because the shattered glass messed up his leather and his paint job. (TMZ)

Last year, Slim talked to SOHH about Houston’s car culture.
“It’s still the same. There’s still a lot of people riding candy and tipping on Fours in Texas. But at the same time, I don’t think the younger generation is into it as much as we were. It’s all over the place. From old school to younger people, there’s still people riding around in candy cars in Houston. There’s a lot of that still going on. It’s mainly like if you’re a hood cat, you’ll probably have a candy car. If you’re more of a suburban kid, you probably won’t be into it.” (SOHH)
