Reports on Prince’s passing bubbled online early Thursday (April 21).
The artist known as Prince has died … TMZ has learned. He was 57. Prince’s body was discovered at his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota early Thursday morning. Multiple sources connected to the singer confirmed he had passed. (TMZ)
Law enforcement is reportedly still at his estate and are investigating the matter.
Carver County Chief Deputy Jason Kamerud confirmed a response to a medical call at 9:43 a.m. The crime lab and medical examiner are on scene, but law enforcement said no official identification will be released until notifications are made. (Fox 9)

Earlier this month, Prince said he wasn’t feeling well, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, and canceled at least one concert in the city. Some days later, he took the stage in Atlanta to perform. After that concert, the singer’s plane made an emergency landing, the singer’s spokesperson Yvette Noel-Schure told CNN.
