The new visual premiered online Tuesday (April 22) and tackles the negative media coverage he has received over the past few years.

Critically acclaimed platinum-selling wordsmith, SCARFACE, sets up his anxiously awaited return with the video for “No Problem.” Directed by Mr. Boomtown, Scarface takes us through his walk of fame in his former hood, Houston’s South Acres, cementing the reasons why he is one of the best rappers of all time. “No Problem, serves as a warm-up for ‘Face’s forthcoming release, Deeply Rooted. Deeply Rooted, marks Scarface’s twelfth (12th) studio and is slated for a summer release with his autobiography following in the Fall. (Press Release)

Face Mob announced his big album comeback plans earlier this month.

Scarface is back! The legendary Houston native MC, who has been giving us some of the dopest, rawest, and grittiest material we’ve heard of for years, is back with news of a brand new album. Thats right, Scarface is working on his 12th studio album, which is titled Deeply Rooted, and due to drop later this year; hopefully. (Stupid Dope)

The iconic rapper’s previous studio effort arrived back in 2008 and was followed with a brief music hiatus.

Deeply Rooted will be Scarface’s 12th studio album, and his first since 2008 release, Emeritus. The release date for the forthcoming full-length has yet to be announced. The rapper recently appeared on the critically acclaimed new album from Freddie Gibbs and Madlib, Pinata, adding his inimitable vocals to the track “Broken.” (Radio)

Earlier this year, the Geto Boys leader discussed how he felt hip-hop had fallen behind other popular genres in intelligence.

“The rap sh*t [is] sounding stupider and stupider, and country music is sounding more brilliant, rock music is sounding more brilliant and alternative music is sounding way more brilliant,” he says. “Sh*t sound good as f*ck. Everybody [in hip-hop] wants to turn up now; even in R&B. Who stole the soul? The soul is gone. Twenty-five years ago it was called soul, 30 years ago it was called soul. Then they turned it into rhythm and blues, R&B. What is it now? Is R&B gone too?” (XXL Mag)
